Klondike International Road Relay

Winter Solstice Run

Athletics Yukon is hosting the annual Grey Mountain Winter Solstice Run/Walk on Saturday to celebrate the shortest day of the year. Length approximately 12km. The run starts at ten o’clock in the morning. It follows the Grey Mountain Road past the rifle range and before the Northwestel Road. Participants meet at the upper parking lot where you will see race organizers. There is no fee but people are asked to donate non-perishable food items for the Whitehorse Food Bank.

Every year, thousands of trumpeter swans migrate through the Yukon. Residents and visitors alike flock to open waters at Marsh Lake to see the swans arrive.
