Sport Yukon’s Klondike Trail Of ’98 International Road Relay

What a Rush! Teams race from Skagway to Whitehorse. Relay teams of up to 10 runners race along the old Gold Rush route through coast mountains from Skagway to Whitehorse overnight. The race begins in Skagway, Alaska and finishes along the Yukon River in Whitehorse. Festivities to follow the race.

Eunoia is a contemporary dance adaptation of Christian Bök’s celebrated poem of the same name. Each chapter is constrained to the use of a single vowel, and despite this Bök creates a series of fascinating worlds. Hosted by the Mayo Volunteer Fire Department, the Fireman’s Ball is a charity dinner. The proceeds of the dinner are used for the annual Children’s Christmas party for the children of the Mayo community who are 12 and under. Winter Solstice Run

Athletics Yukon is hosting the annual Grey Mountain Winter Solstice Run/Walk on Saturday to celebrate the shortest day of the year. Length approximately 12km. The run starts at ten o’clock in the morning. It follows the Grey Mountain Road past the rifle range and before the Northwestel Road. Participants meet at the upper parking lot where you will see race organizers. There is no fee but people are asked to donate non-perishable food items for the Whitehorse Food Bank.
