B VISITOR INFORMATION CENTRE
Attendants in period costume will give you up-to-date information
on Parks Canada, local activities, events and attractions. Audio visual presentations offered daily. Open May 1st to September 30th.
C PALACE GRAND THEATRE
Reconstruction of the original theatre built by Arizona Charlie Meadows
in 1899.
D OLD POST OFFICE
Built in 1901. First class mail drop and stamp sales.
E MADAME TREMBLAY’S STORE
Built in 1899 and restored to its 1913 appearance. (Window display)

G K.T.M. CO. BUILDING
Originally a freight line depot and later a grocery store, in 1912 it was used by the Klondike Thawing Machine Co. as a warehouse. (Window display)
H BILLY BIGG’S BLACKSMITH SHOP
Built in 1899. Operated as a hotel, then in 1907 modified to house a blacksmith shop. Operated until 1950s. (Window display)
I HARRINGTON’S STORE
Constructed in 1900. Exterior restoration.
J RUBY’S PLACE
Typical Gold Rush house of notorious reputation. Also offered laundry services. Operated until the 1960s. (Window display)
K BANK OF BRITISH NORTH AMERICA
Built in 1899, it contained an assay office where much of the Klondike gold was valued. It was the Bank of Montreal until 1968. Included in town core walking tour.
L LOWE’S MORTUARY
Originally built as a furniture store, it became a mortuary from 1916 to 1953. (Window display)
M OAK HALL
This general merchandise store was built in 1900. (Window display)
N SS KENO
Built in 1922 by the British Yukon Navigation Co., this sternwheeler was the last to ply the Yukon River. Outdoor exhibit.
O COMMISSIONER’S RESIDENCE
From 1900 to 1916, this was the of- ficial residence of the Commissioner of the Yukon. Restoration was completed in 1996.
P RED FEATHER SALOON
Peek in the window of the working man’s club! The Red Feather was one of the last saloons in Dawson City.
Q COURTHOUSE BUILDING
Built in 1901, today it serves as an office building.
R BLACK’S RESIDENCE
Once the home of Commissioner George Black and his wife Martha Louise Black.
S C.O.’s QUARTERS
Originally the residence of the Com- manding Officer of the NorthWest Mounted Police, Fort Herchemer. Houses Parks Canada Offices.
T ST. ANDREW’S MANSE
Once the residence of the minister of the neighbouring Presbyterian Church.
U ST. ANDREW’S CHURCH
Built in 1902, the Presbyterian Church was the largest in Dawson City, seating 600.
V N.C. CO. WAREHOUSE
One of four warehouses built in 1897 by the Alaska Commercial Co., which later became the Northern Commercial Co.
W DR. BROWN’S RESIDENCE
Built in 1901, once the home of Dr. John Brown, dentist.
X MACAULAY’S RESIDENCE
Build in 1901, it was home to Judge Henry C. Macaulay, Dawson City’s first mayor.
Y ROBERT SERVICE CABIN
Home of the renowned poet Robert W. Service. Open daily June to mid September.
