DYEA CAMPGROUND
The Dyea Campground is located 9 miles from Skagway and .5 miles from the Chilkoot trailhead. The campground is within a short drive or bike ride of the historic townsite of Dyea • 907-983-9200 22 sites, vault toilets, picnic tables and fire rings. There is a 14 day camping limit, and it is operated on a first-come first-serve basis. Self-registration. Call for fee informa- tion. No open fires, no long-term guests.
HELPFUL TIPS FOR RVERS AND CAMPERS
• There is limited RV Parking in town. Day parking is available at Seven Pastures Recreation area with municipal transit available to town.
• There is limited tent camping available in town with more options available in Dyea.
• Camp only in designated camping areas.
• Fires allowed only in designated fire rings. Observe posted fire bans.
• Keep food in vehicles or bear resistant containers.
• Travel only on designated roads (no off-roading).
• Avoid areas under restoration.
• Do not damage streams.
• Do not deface or remove artifacts.
