After crossing the river on the ferry, follow the
Top of the World Hwy for 3.7 km. Turn left on
the Sunnydale Road. Follow the road for 1.3 km
until it widens on the right for parking. The trail
entrance is on the left.
This unique area is home to thousands of
Spotted Lady’s-slipper orchids which bloom in
early June. An interpretive trail leads you around
the patches of orchids describing wildlife of the
region. Two viewing platforms look out over the
Yukon and Klondike rivers, with panels about the
history of the area. Take only pictures and leave
the flowers for all to enjoy.
